Spring's Seasonal Living Goals

Spring's Seasonal Living Goals

Spring is officially here on our Canadian Calendars. Although some parts still have several feet of snow, the letterpress workshop's windows tell the story of green grass and birds singing a familiar song. Seasonal living allows you to enjoy things as they develop and be mindful of transitions. But sometimes, even with the best intentions, the season can slip by, you blink a couple times, and before you know it it's Christmas. What has helped me to take full advantage of seasonal gifts is making a list of the things I want to do and enjoy. It keeps me on track and reminds me of seasonal goals. For Spring, I'm sharing my list with you to inspire the same joy for all seasons.

  • Go strawberry picking
  • Paint emptied eggs for easter
  • Nature hike to spot signs of Spring
  • Start my gardens
  • Get my bird feeders & baths organized
  • Visit the local magnolia tree every few days until it blooms
  • Make a new Spotify Spring playlist
  • Listen to the birds
  • Make Sun tea
  • Go to an outdoor afternoon tea
  • Open the windows and allow fresh air to come in the house
  • Have a backyard picnic
  • Swap Winter wardrobe for Spring wardrobe (lighter colours, linens, floral patterns)
  • Go to the farmer's market
  • Buy a bouquet of flowers and place it throughout the house
